Product Introduction

The first step for the PET recycling washing is separating, separating the different colors of the bottles. At the beginning of the line, there usually will be bale opener, which is used to open the bottles bale and make the bottles separated. There are usually two kinds of bale opener, one is vertical type, and the other one is a horizontal type. But both types have the similar working theory. It is to separate the bottles by two shaft with blades. Next the bale opener is the pre-washer. Pre-washing machine plays an important role in the PET bottle recycling. It can pre wash dirties on the surface of bottles. Some pre washer is with heating water function. With the hot water, it also can pre heat the labels to make the glue soft. Then it makes easier to remove the labels by the mechanical label separator.

Talking the mechanical label separator, there are usually also two types. One is removing the labels by flush water. The other one is separating labels by induced draft fan. The customers can choose one type of them.

Usually there is also a manual separating after mechanical label separator. People can stand both sides of the manual separating platform to separate the other things. Such as the PVC bottles, and scratch the left labels on the bottles. Also people can pick out the color bottles, like the green and blue bottles out, only leaving the transparent bottles.

Connecting to the manual separating platform is a metal detector. It can detect all the metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, copper… which can remove the impurity metals and protect the crusher blades.

For the PET bottle machinery washing recycling line, it usually includes the cold washing and hot washing. The cold washing parts are mainly the rinsing tank. After the crusher, the bottles become to be PET bottle flakes. Then the flakes go into the floating rinsing tank. The cold washing tank does not only wash the PET flakes, but also separate the bottle caps. Usually there will be two to three cold water rinsing tanks in one plant. Between the cold rinsing washing tanks, there will be one or two hot PET flakes washer. By hot washer, the glue and oil and some other strong dirties on the surface of bottle flakes can be washed out or softened. Then when the bottle flakes go into the high speed friction washer, the strong dirties can be removed out easily by the strong powder from the high speed friction washer.

After the washing process, the next step is dewatering and drying process. Like other washing recycling plant, the dewatering and drying parts are usually combined together. For the PET bottle flakes, the dewatering is usually vertical centrifugal dehydrator. It works high efficiently and removes the water thoroughly. The drying system is usually consisted of two parts. One is the heater to supply hot air to the drying system. The other one is the stainless steel drying pipes. Usually the drying pipe is 20m to 30 m length which can guarantee the flakes are heated fully and make the water on the surface of flakes to be vapor achieving remove the water. By dewatering machine and drying system, the moisture level of final PET flakes can be lower than 1%.

Before the final parts, usually an air label separator will be equipment in the plant. It is used to remove the fines, material powder and some tiny labels left in the PET flakes, which ensure the high purity level of the bottle flakes.

Finally it is the storage silo which also can be connecting to the automatic package system.

The structure of this plant is designed based on our many years experience to manufacturing the recycling machines. Simple structure, compact component, low energy consumption, safe and easy operating, simple maintenance. All these good points are to help the customer to get good profit.

The parts of machines contacted with material are made of stainless steel SUS 304 with thickness from 3mm to 6mm. It can ensure the recycling plant running for a long time. Normally it can run 6~7 years. With well maintenance, it can run 8~10 years.
